Lets see, i think its been over a 1/4 of a year since my last post, guess its time to write something I am actually burning some time right now, got out of english early so i thought id say hey.

What are you views or opinions on child obesity? I am probably going to write a research paper on that and was curious what you all though? Cause? Solution? ect.

There has been an amazing song I heard this morning on my computer but i forget the artist. It was talking about in Revelation with the amazing power and glory of God!

What is it that keeps the elders falling on their faces;

What is it that keeps the creatures crying Holy Holy Holy;

What is it that keeps the serphims, cherabims, and angels in order?

Think about it, how awesome is God that all these amazing beast and heavenly beings find him so amazing that all they can do and say the word "Holy" and and come bowing before him 24/7!! You have millions of hulking massive angels standing in awestruck wonder of him! Have we even begun to understand his glory and beauty?! May God reveal more of himself to each of us today and every day!

Have a real one,

Tim

Hey yal, hope life is treatin ya good! On this end of things, not a whole lot to report. Work is goin pretty good, not quite at crazy this time of the year as I had thought. My boss is being the great guy that he is and is coming in to cover me so that I can leave a little early on Friday to hit up the cabin this wknd, a praise to God for supplying that one! Lesson in process of learning this week( lol i guess for the rest of my life)- if you ask God to test and humble you um........ yeah he will! Anyway, thats perdy much it.

The following is something i just got this morning from a friend at work, thought it was pretty good and that I would share it with you all. Have a blessed week!

Perspective on Wealth

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his sons on a trip to
the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people
live.  They spent a couple of days and night on the farm of what would
be considered a very poor family.
//
On their return from the trip, the father asked his son/:/
//
/"How was the trip?"/
/"It was great, dad."/
/"Did you see how poor people live?"  /the father asked.
/"Oh yeah,"  /said the son.
/"So tell me, what you learned from the trip?"    /asked the father.

The son answered:   /"I saw that we have one dog and they had four"./
//
/"We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden -- they have a
creek that has no end"./
//
/"We have imported lanterns in our garden -- they have stars at night."/
//
/"Our patio reaches to the front yard -- they have the whole horizon"./
//
/"We have a small piece of land to live on -- they have fields that go
beyond our sight"./
//
/"We have servants who serve us -- but they serve others"./
//
/"We buy our food -- but they grow theirs"./
//
/"We have walls around our property to protect us -- they have friends
to protect them"./
//
//
The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added..../ "Thanks dad, for showing me how fortunate these
people really are"./
//
Perspective is a wonderful thing.   Makes you wonder what would happen
if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about
what we don't have.
Let's all appreciate everything we have...especially our friends.
Life is too short and friends are too few.

""You are a Christian! You are! Now I know it for sure!""

"Before Tara could offer a word in her defense, she again felt her father's swift, hard hand against her face. He was firmly convinced that his daughter had converted to Christianity, and in response, he did what he thought was his duty. Unmoved by the pleas of family members or servants who happend to be neaby, Tara's father and brother dragger her into her room and locked the door behind them. Shrinking back into a corner and trembling in terror, Tara had good reason to fear for her life. Her father and brother beat her with whatever weapons they found quickest: the electric cord from one of the crystal lamps and the rod from Tara's clset. Then they grabbed, pushed, and carried all her belongings- her rugs, bed, clothes, electronics, everthing-and dumped them in the hallway. When the terrible scene ended, Tara lay in a bloody heap in the midle of her now barren room. Her father's last words to her fefore he slammed the door shut wer, "Either you marry, or you die. Your choice. If you are a Christian, then there is no place for you in this city. But if you marry, then you can be my daughter. Otherwise you will die here alone.""

Hearts of Fire [Tara: Life on the Run]   ( Voice of the Martyrs)- a book i recomend to anyone!

This story, as intense and unthinkable as it seems, is actually very true and is the situation for many muslim believers when they are found out to be Christians. Tara is a teenage girl from Pakistan who comes from a stable family but is shunned as an outcast. If a single muslim woman is found as a Christian, they usually try to marry her off to another muslim man so that she may be "reformed". Tara was forced to run and is to this day still living with a threat for her life from her family.

Please pray for these suffering Christians! We have absolutely no clue what it is like to endure what they have. What is mentioned above is only part of what they may have to suffer: Torture, imprisionment, rape, social outcast, ect. are all very real possiblities of life as a Christain. This type of persecution is not only in the Islamic Middle East, but also in SE Asia, Russia, ect. James 1:12, Rev. 2:3

There is so much more to the lives of these amazing men and women of faith! Check out voiceofthemartyrs.com

I guess its October, havin a little bit of a hard time keepin track here. I guess I can blame part of that on time just moving along, and for this amazingly xtra warm weather. Personly, i'll take all I can get. Um, personal stuff to say, not a whole lot- Gabriel is about 55lbs now, I now have at least 3 weddings to be in next year, my computer is finally reformatted (at the cost of accidentally losing some of my writings), praying that busy season at work doesn't get any more hectic, soaking in all the fall colors, just finished a great book i recomend to all "Miracle of Miracles", met my pastor for India this past weekend, and am snacking on wilber buds right now.

All for Jesus, all for Jesus

all I am and have and hope to be

all of my ambitions, hopes, and plans

I surrender into your hands

for its only in your will

that I am free

Robin Mark

Most of you probably heard this song before but it has really been sticking in my head lately. The hard part is not getting it out of my head, but actually keeping it in there and doing it! Hope a fervently swell week is all of your's!

When the Churches Burned Down

Mt. Vesuvius is famous to this very day

For the destruction it brought to ancient Pompeii.

The Bubonic Plague has a reputation

To show how a sickness can wipe out a nation.

But who will forget the great devastation

Which cause the godless a great celebration?

It was a miracle of ungodly renown

When every church in the world mysteriously burned down.

In one moment of time, from what people say,

Churches burned from Asia, to Europe to U.S of A.

They burned North and South and from East to West.

Was it a conspiracy or some sort to test?

Alas of alack, Christians had no place to meet.

Some, I hear, had to take to the street.

They would meet in the park in the middl eof town

And the poor and the homeless would gather around.

On Sunday mornings there was no place to go.

Some woul dtell about Jesus to the folks on Skid Row.

Wednesday nights were really a scare.

Christians could show up any old where.

They'd be in a hospital by a sick person's bed

Or in a soup kitchen where the poor could be fed.

The prisons were visited almost every day

Christians shared of God's love and then they would pray.

Sometimes when Christians had no place to go,

They'd o to a restaurant just to get out of the snow.

They'd try to pick up someone singing the blues

And buy him a sandwich and share the Good News.

They went to the homes for children and youth

And showed them God's love and taught them the truth.

To schools, to homes to places of work,

Around every corner the Chrisitans would lurk.

When the churches burned down, the Church rose up strong,

And the World saw a display they'd looked for all along.

A church without walls is a powerful thing,

No one ever guessed what results it would bring.

But now those burned churches are rebuilt strong and new

And Christians are again sitting safe in the pew.

Don't get me wrong, its a blessing to have places to meet and fellowship at, but if thats were it stops, then what.....

"Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled"-Luke 14:23-
